Covid-19 pandemic | Cascais City Council measures
As part of the measures recommended by the Health General Directorate regarding this period of the Covid-19 pandemic, Cascais City Council has determined the following (last updated on 23rd march 2020):
SOCIAL SUPPORT
Two facilities to host the homeless population
As a containment measure against #covid19, we inform that City Council has set up two temporary facilities for the homeless population. These facilities are open all hours starting at 4pm on March 18.
They provide night and day shelter in order to minimise as much as possible the risks of contagion of the virus. Guests will be provided with food and showering and personal hygiene facilities.
Locations:
- Cascais/Estoril and Alcabideche: Pavilion of the Cidadela High School
- Carcavelos/Parede and São Domingos de Rana: Pavilion of the Fernando Lopes Graça High School
