Covid-19 pandemic | Cascais City Council measures

As part of the measures recommended by the Health General Directorate regarding this period of the Covid-19 pandemic, Cascais City Council has determined the following (last updated on 23rd march 2020):

SOCIAL SUPPORT

Senior Citizen helpline

As a containment measure to prevent the spreading of #covid19, we inform that, in partnership with local councils and volunteers, City Council has set up a Telephone Helpline for residents who are 65 years old and older currently In voluntary isolation.

Hence, those who need in need of medication, groceries or other items, or feel lonely, can count on additional support.

As older residents, and possible carriers of other illnesses that render them more vulnerable to the virus, they must protect themselves.

NOTE: This is not a health-issues helpline. For health questions, everyone should contact Saude 24- 808 24 24 24.

In order to guarantee geographic proximity, each local council has its own contact numbers. They are working Monday through Friday, 9am to 6om.
