Portuguese Territorial Network of Educating Cities
The IACE has 476 associated cities in 37 countries, 58 of which are Portuguese.
Since 1997 Cascais belongs to the International Association of Educating Cities (IACE), whose Charter of Principles establishes the right to an Educating City, and the principle that the City should be at the Integral Service of People: http://www.edcities.org/ciudad/cascais/
To better comply with the principles of the Charter of the AICE, the Portuguese cities created the National Territorial Network of Educating Cities that promotes meetings between the cities, working groups that reflect on various topics and publishes a magazine with experiences of member cities: http://www.edcities.org/rede-portuguesa/
