BRINCAR NA INCERTEZA E PARA O DESAFIO foi o tema da Conferência Europeia que se realizou em Cascais, de 28 a 30 de maio de 2021.
A Conferência foi digital.
Uma organização conjunta com parceiros estratégicos do Município de Cascais, nomeadamente, a Faculdade de Motricidade Humana da Universidade de Lisboa e a International Play Association (IPA) - Delegação de Portugal.
Durante dois dias e meio, a uma escala europeia, a comunidade educativa de Cascais, conjuntamente com peritos nacionais e internacionais teve a oportunidade de apresentar e debater experiências, sobretudo considerando o período de incerteza e confinamento vivido em 2020.
Em que medida brincar ajudou a promover tempos construtivos em família?
Brincar ajuda-nos a reduzir a ansiedade e a lidar com o imprevisto?
A atividade lúdica influencia o nosso humor e disposição para as tarefas do dia a dia?
Para além do subtema "Brincar em contextos de imprevisibilidade", foram ainda eixos temáticos desta conferência: "Brincar e a relação com o mundo digital" e "Brincar em futuras comunidades".
Com esta iniciativa pretendeu-se disseminar uma cultura aprendente sobre o jogo e o brincar, numa combinação de estudos científicos e experiências práticas locais, nacionais e internacionais.

PLAYING IN UNCERTAINTY AND FOR CHALLENGE was the theme of the European Conference that took place in Cascais, from the 28th to the 30th may 2021.
The conference was digital.
A joint organization with strategic partners from the Municipality of Cascais, namely the Faculty of Human Motricity at the University of Lisbon and the International Play Association (IPA) - Delegation of Portugal.
For two and a half days, on a European scale, the educational community of Cascais, together with national and international experts, had the opportunity to present and discuss experiences, especially considering the period of uncertainty and confinement experienced in 2020.
To what extent has playing helped to promote constructive family times?
Does playing help us reduce anxiety and deal with the unexpected?
Does playful activity influence our mood and disposition for day-to-day tasks?
In addition to the sub-theme "Playing in contexts of unpredictability", the main themes of this conference were: "Playing and the relationship with the digital world" and "Playing in future communities".
Wit this initiative it was intended to disseminate a learning culture about the game and playing, in a combination of scientific studies and practical experiences, local, national and international.
