A Business Angel is not an angel but it may save a good business idea. For those who have one and need capital, these investors may be a solution.
A Business Angel is an investor who invests in emerging opportunities (start-up or early stage type). They participate in projects with smart money, i.e., in addition to contributing with financial capacity, they also contribute with their experience and business network.
Business Angels like to exercise their capacity for mentoring projects, and when investing in projects they seek not only a high return for their capital, but also new challenges, preferably in their country or region.
Most small and medium sized companies struggle with a recurring problem: financing. Many resort to own capital or friends and family or are forced to borrow from banks. The capital risk companies, meanwhile, are only interested in companies that already have some maturity.
Is there a third way? Yes, and many point to the Business Angels as the ideal way to finance start-ups.
This designation defines the individuals who have capital to invest and who usually have significant experience in creating new businesses, recognising new ideas with potential.
