Like other beaches in the municipality, it is sandwiched between two coastal elevations where you can see the Old Fort, the Cadaveira Fort and the old baths of Poça. It has good access routes, parking and a pedestrianised zone that connects with the other beaches.

How to get to the beach:
- By car - take the EN6 - Marginal – or through the inside roads of Estoril or Poça. Pedestrian access through the tunnel at Santa Rita Valley where there is a car park.
- By trains – Exit at Estoril train station and walk to the beach through the seaside promenade (walkway)
Access to the beach through a stairway and ramp.
