Português | Français | Castellano
Casa de Santa Maria was built in 1902 and is one of the most emblematic works by the architect Raul Lino, who began his career in Cascais, outlining a series of houses for some friends.
Inside one can find a relevant group of items, highlighting a large number of figurative and patterned tiles both of religious and rural iconography, as well as the oil-painted wooden ceiling which was adapted to the dining room. The existence of such a rich and diverse tile collection is an asset of indisputable value, belonging to the artistic repertoire of Portuguese Baroque.
